Over the many years RA Elson Commercial has been involved in the Greater Bristol & Bath commercial property market we have been involved in a many major acquisitions to create valuable investment and development opportunities for clients.

This work has involved sourcing investment and development opportunities for clients, providing clear valuation advice and an assessment of the future potential of properties under consideration, negotiating acquisitions including submitting ‘best-bid’ sealed tenders and advising and implementing letting or sales strategies to maximise the potential of acquired properties.

Over the years RA Elson Commercial has acted in many large acquisitions such as the purchase for split-up purposes of Flowers Hill Industrial Estate, Bristol BS4 for £1.2 Million ; acquisition of Parkway T/E, St. Werburghs, Bristol BS2 from Collinsons (in receivership) ; purchase for owner-occupiers of the former Caravan Centre, High Street, Staple Hill, Bristol BS16 for BM Motoring Centres.

More recently acquisition and split-up advice was given on Douglas Road Industrial Park, Kingswood, Bristol BS15 for some £2.4 Million with RA Elson Commercial acting in the subsequent sale of the individual units ; advising on the former Lindman Doors site, Tower Road North, Warmley, Bristol BS30 acquired for just over £2 Million, together with its sub-division and the sale & letting of the resultant units. Individual property search and acquisition advice is also provided such as was given to specialist packaging company of Dynamic Packaging securing a new 12,000 sq.ft. facility in Cater Road, Bishopsworth, Bristol 13.

This type of work can encompass a significant timespan, such as when some fifteen years ago RA Elson Commercial acted in the sale to behalf of Leeds-based clients of an industrial complex at 571 Southmead Road, Filton, Bristol and was subsequently retained over the following years to act in the letting of units on the site and advice n leasehold issues arising. Upon the re-structuring of the client’s property business in 2010 RA Elson Commercial then effected the sale of the investment for some £420,000.
